Honduras Political Situation
Publicada el July 6, 2009
After a week of the Legal Secession of the President in Honduras which has call the attention of the International Community, our Custom Offices, Boarders & Cargo Transit continues without interruptions.
The government in order to avoid any confrontation with the protesters may request to close any Custom offices or suspend the Transit of the shipments; this measure is only for a couple of hours in the specific area to avoid inconveniences.
The Government as a safety precaution has implemented a curfew that starts 6:30pm until 5:00am next day, therefore, until this measure last our offices will be close at 4:00pm.
Note that we’re doing the best we can to have our Customers Cargo been mobilize to their final destination; Consignees are aware of the situation and everyone (carriers, agents, customers, government, etc.) are working together to keep our Logistics Operations Active
